Frederick G. Yost

Gallery 400 is excited to be featuring pastels by this artist. Yost was born and brought up in Connecticut and educated at the Polytechnic University of New York and Iowa State University. He has resided in New Mexico for the last 35 years. He has taken art courses from several institutions and attended many art workshops throughout his life. For the past 30 years he has exhibited and sold art in galleries, fairs and competitions and his work has appeared in art magazines and two published books. He has won five awards in recent National Shows and the Silver Award at the 2002 International Association of Pastel Societies meeting in Santa Fe.
