The Hideaway is located inside Gallery 400 in the heart of Silver City's Historic District within walking distance to restaurants, galleries, museums, coffee houses and nightlife. 


The Hideaway offers guests the ultimate in Southwest atmosphere and architecture from our over 100 year old adobe structure, which has been completely renovated with it’s integrity intact. Our Guest rooms all open into gallery space and are uniquely and beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful amenities. For your convenience, our guestrooms at Gila House Hotel are equipped with high-speed wireless access, guests have access to Diamonds Gym (just around the corner), secure private parking, private bathrooms, mini-fridge, cable television, hair dryers, iron & ironing boards, alarm clocks and plush terry robes. The cozy Anasazi Room, our smallest yet most charming room,
features a queen bed, private bath with tub/shower, and a
private balcony.

The Mimbres Room, features a king-sized bed, private bath with tub/shower, and French doors opening onto a private patio. The king sized bed can be configured as two single beds if you prefer. Also, if you have a child with you this room has a rollaway that can be brought in for your convenience.

The Mogollon Room, our largest room, sleeps up to four people (2 adults and 2 children). It is outfitted with a queen bed, a day bed with a trundle bed, private bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. This room also has proven to be wheelchair accessible. It is conveniently located next to street access and across from our breakfast room.
